Feyi Grace Adepoju (Mrs.) is a Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Clinical Science at the University of Ilorin, also a Consultant Public Health Ophthalmologist cum anterior segment surgeon at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. She served twice as Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, past MDCAN Chairman UITH, past Chairman of the UITH Research Ethics Review Committee, current Director of the Medical Education Resource Unit (MERU), President, Bioethics Society of Nigeria, and Treasurer African Ophthalmology Council.
Over the years, she has supervised several fellows of National Post graduate students and resident doctors both in the University college and UITH.
She has published over 70 articles in journals, 5 books, 4 chapters in 4 books, and conference proceedings, which are widely recognized.
Equally, she has won several research grants and academic awards; presently, the eXcellence in Ophthalmology Vision Award XOVA by Novartis International grant/award to perform 1200 cataract surgeries in a year. Professor Adepoju is a Reverend Pastor and a member of many professional bodies in Nigeria and around the world.
